Executive Leadership Training — our story

Discover the mission, values, and people behind a decade of transforming how leaders think, connect, and perform.

How it all began

Leaders Forge Path was founded in 2014 by a small group of organizational psychologists and former C-suite executives who shared a common frustration: too many leadership development programs were built on outdated models, delivered in sterile hotel conference rooms, and forgotten within weeks of completion. They believed that executive leadership training could be fundamentally different — grounded in behavioural science, delivered through immersive experiences, and measured by lasting behavioural change rather than end-of-session satisfaction surveys.

From a modest office in Sherbrooke, Quebec, the founding team began working with a handful of regional organizations willing to experiment with a new approach. Those early engagements produced remarkable results: leaders who participated in the pilot programs reported deeper self-awareness, stronger team relationships, and measurable improvements in their strategic decision-making within just ninety days. Word spread quickly, and within three years, Leaders Forge Path was serving clients across six Canadian provinces and two international markets.

Today, we remain headquartered in Sherbrooke, proud of our Quebec roots and energized by the vibrant community of leaders we have built over the past decade. Our team has grown to include fifteen full-time facilitators, coaches, and researchers, supported by a network of thirty associate consultants with specialized expertise in areas ranging from neuroscience-informed leadership to cross-cultural management. Despite our growth, we have stayed true to the founding principle that brought us together: every leader deserves a development experience that is as rigorous, personal, and transformative as the challenges they face every day.

Our mission and values

Our mission is simple but ambitious: to equip every executive leader with the self-awareness, strategic acumen, and human skills needed to build organizations where people and performance thrive together. Everything we do flows from five core values that guide our work, our relationships, and our own continuous growth as practitioners.

Evidence over intuition

We ground every program, tool, and recommendation in peer-reviewed research and validated assessment methodologies. Our facilitators are trained to distinguish between leadership fads and practices that produce genuine, measurable outcomes. When we recommend a technique, we can point to the evidence behind it — and we invite our clients to hold us accountable for results.

Radical candour

Growth requires honest feedback, and we create environments where leaders can receive it safely. Our coaches and facilitators model the kind of direct, compassionate communication that we teach — challenging assumptions while affirming the person behind them. We believe that the most powerful development happens at the edge of comfort, not deep inside it.

Inclusive excellence

We are committed to building leadership cultures where diverse perspectives are not merely tolerated but actively sought and valued. Our programs address the systemic biases that limit who gets to lead and how leadership is defined. We design every experience to be accessible, culturally responsive, and reflective of the communities our clients serve.

Sustainable impact

A workshop that inspires but does not stick is a waste of everyone's time. We engineer sustainability into every engagement through post-program reinforcement, peer accountability structures, and integration coaching. Our goal is not a momentary spark of insight but a permanent shift in how leaders show up for their teams and organizations every single day.

Lifelong learning

We practice what we preach. Every member of our team is expected to invest at least eighty hours per year in their own professional development, whether through advanced certifications, research projects, or cross-industry learning exchanges. We stay curious so we can bring the freshest thinking to every client engagement.

Why organizations trust us

Choosing the right partner for executive leadership training is a significant decision. Here is what sets Leaders Forge Path apart from the crowded landscape of leadership development providers.

First, we never deliver off-the-shelf content. Every engagement begins with a thorough discovery process in which we interview stakeholders, review organizational data, and observe the leadership culture in action. This investment in understanding ensures that our programs address the real challenges leaders face — not hypothetical ones borrowed from a textbook.

Second, our facilitators are practitioners, not just presenters. Every member of our delivery team has held senior leadership roles in real organizations, which means they bring credibility and practical wisdom to every session. Participants consistently tell us that the quality of facilitation is what distinguishes our programs from others they have attended.

Third, we measure what matters. We track behavioural change at thirty, sixty, and ninety days post-program using validated instruments and manager feedback. Our clients receive detailed impact reports that connect their investment in leadership development to tangible business outcomes, from employee engagement scores to operational efficiency metrics.

Finally, we build lasting relationships. Many of our earliest clients remain active partners today, returning year after year to deepen their leadership bench. We take immense pride in being a trusted advisor rather than a transactional vendor, and we earn that trust through consistent quality, transparency, and genuine care for the leaders we serve.
